A M1915 Gummimaske 3rd type in its original container. The mask is in exceptionally good condition for its age remaining pliable with no dryness or cracking splits. All the straps are in place including the neck strap. The filter is later and dated 1918. The mask contained in its original container that retains the original long and short straps. The straps are still strong and not damaged. The container itself has lost much of its original paint. Chalky mud residue can be seen in the recesses suggesting a battlefield pick up.
