A used by overall good condition khaki beret with Rifle Brigade Badge and backing. The khaki Beret was introduced through various Army Council Instructions starting in 1942 but culminating in ACI 25TH September 1943 which authorised which units could wear what colour of beret. Khaki is authorised for Recce Corps, Infantry Motorised Battalions and light scout car companies and field parks. This beret clearly dated 1945 with the Z code also denoting 1945. Some small moth holes pictured and moth grazing
