A D Shaped mess tin carried by dismounted troops. The shape dating back to the Napoleonic wars with various changes the last being in 1914 with the omission of the internal pan. This example has been chromed but retains its makers stamp to the bottom and WD stamp to the recessed edge. Priced to reflect the chrome plating.
