An extremely scarce rubberised cotton wallet that held the Phosgene gas helmet within the P Helmet haversack. This example has damage to the outer flap as shown but the inner pocket will still hold the helmet. These were often misappropriated by soldiers to hold personal documents and letters hence their scarcity.
