An issue holdall correctly marked to 3778 'DG' ( Dragoon Guards) Research attributes this particular example to Private Tom Gaylard 5th Dragoon Guards who entered France on the 15th August 1914. He survived the war earning the Military Medal for bravery. Holdall is grubby but no damage excepting a hole in front of the 'DG'.
