A 1918 dated pattern 1908 Web Equipment bayonet Frog. This has had the rear strap removed. It may or may not have had blanco applied the webbing has faded to a neutral light khaki as opposed to a KG3 green. This type favoured by Vickers Machine gun No1 and No2 or Lewis Gun No1s to carry the Intrenching tool helve. The last picture illustrates how this was worn NOTE the helve is NOT included it is purely to illustrate carriage.
