The top of the lighter that accompanied the smokers gift. This example is NOT monogrammed or Asprey marked but is in every other respect identical to the Asprey made lighter. Asprey were contracted by the gift fund to make 500,000 lighter but only fulfilled the order to to 137,000 the remainder sourced from other makers but were not marked. This may be unmarked Asprey stock. I guarantee it is of the period. I have shown photographs of the Asprey marked example alongside this one offered for sale. Note the marked example is NOT for sale merely for comparison purposes. Complete marked Asprey lighters are mid hundreds of £. I have priced the sale item accordingly.
